Cosmetology Program Details:
Our Academy is based on 1600 hours which includes learning Hair, Skin, & Nail services. Students will perform all services offered in the program.

Tuition is $13,400

Registration fee $100

Kit and Supplies $1850

Daily School Schedules:
Monday - Friday

Full Time: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Part Time AM: 8:30 am - 2:00 pm
Part Time PM: 3:00-8:30 pm
- Part time students leave 1 hour earlier on Friday

Steps for Enrollment:

1. Completed Student Application (available online or in person)-make sure that you read the student catalog prior to enrolling. You will be asked about this information during your director interview tour.
2. High School Diploma, GED, or other equivalent education with valid transcript*
3. Pay $2,500 deposit (which includes your registration fee) no later than 2 weeks prior to the start of the enrolled class term. Payments are made through Lumion found in our Resource Links.

*High school students must coordinate with Avanti Beauty Academy to enroll in a $50 Accuplacer admittance test prior to enrollment at least 4 weeks prior to enrollment. There is a 2 week grace period between retakes.

Transfer Students

Do you accept transfer students?
YES, However we do not actively recruit from other schools. If you are interested in transferring from another cosmetology or beauty institution, we will require official transcripts from your former school sent directly to info@avantiacademy.org

Enrollment Dates:
There are 6 start dates per year rotating every 8 weeks. Here are our current openings:

August 17, 2026 (enrollment deadline August 3rd)
October 19, 2026 (enrollment deadline Oct 5)
January 4, 2027 (enrollment deadline Dec 14, 2026)
March 22, 2027 (enrollment deadline March 8)
June 7, 2027 (enrollment deadline May 24)

Acceptance Requirements:
You must have a high school diploma, GED, or pass the ATB Accuplacer test. If you are in high school, you must have a 2.5 GPA or higher to be accepted in addition to the ATB test.
